How to Reduce Menstrual Cramps by Yoni Steaming

As a teenager, I missed many days of school because my cramps were excruciating. I would spend most of my day curled up on the floor crying.   1. A medium-large sized pot
  2. Herbal blend
  3. Heat resistant bowl
  4. Blanket
  5. Sanitized toilet
  6. Candles (optional)

How to prepare:

  1. Fill a pot almost full of water
  2. Add herbal blend
  3. Steep herbs for approximately 15-20 minutes
  4. Pour the contents of the pot into a heat resistant bowl
  5. Lift the seat on your toilet
  6. Place bowl in the toilet (a large bowl will fit perfectly)
  7. Let down seat lid
  8. Remove your clothes or bottoms and sit over the herbs allowing the steam to penetrate the womb area. If temperature is too hot, let cool to prevent burning.
  9. Wrap blanket around you to trap in steam.
  10. Sit until yoni steam cools.

 

After doing this only twice, my cramps went away. Yoni steaming can also regulate your cycle and minimize your cycle days. If your cycle lasts longer than usual, yoni steaming may be a great fit for you.ย Do not yoni steam while on your cycle.
