I absolutely love this concept. It is important that we detox our body but what about our life? Would it serve us any good if we had healthy bodies but are mentally drained by life circumstances and toxic people?

I tried it and it does not go hand and hand. I am one who will work on a relationship until I feel there isn’t anything else that I could possibly do. I will not lose myself in a person so when it gets to this point, it is time to do some cleansing!

Detoxing your life is very important. What am I referring to when I say detox your life? This refers to any situation that is not serving you for your highest good. This could be a hang out spot of yours, toxic friendships and relationships and toxic habits- just to name a few. We all know what those things are in our life whether we are brave enough to admit it or not.

This is a great time to think about those things that are toxic for you. We do not have but one life to live in this beautiful body that has been created to support our existence on earth. Why do we waste our time consumed in things that weigh us down and contribute to stresses that we do not need?

We have more control over our happiness than what many people realize. We CHOOSE to stay in situations. We CHOOSE to tolerate certain things. We must look at ourselves and see why we allow such things to be a part of our life if it does not serve us for our highest good.

Many people will refuse do detox their life because of fear. Fear of change, fear that things could be worse, fear of the unknown, fear period. This word keeps a person captive every time if and only if you allow it to. I had a fear of change, but I also knew I was hurting where I was so how much worse could it get? The worse that could happen is that people would talk about me for trying and I may end up right where I started. Well, people will always talk about you- good and bad. We can never control this, and it is not for us to. I may end up right where I started but at least I tried. I will keep trying!

Detoxing your body is very beneficial as we encounter so many toxins throughout the day. Our body can naturally combat and cleanse when balanced but achieving balanced health (mind, body and soul) can be challenging for some.

I detox by consuming herbal infusions/teas, juicing, and fasting. Eating a balanced diet supports the natural cleansing of the body. When our diet is not balanced, we began to experience symptoms, and this is when the cycle of prescription or over the counter medications start. Constipation is great example of this. Eating a balanced diet can support digestive health. If there are complications, one may choose to take a prescription medication or over the counter to help support the elimination of waste.
